Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The Free plan gives you 5 minutes of transcription each month and 3 video exports, and it doesn't ask for a card. Paid plans aren't open yet.
What happens to my videos?
Your files are stored for your account and removed when you delete the project. To transcribe a video, its audio is sent to Google's Gemini service.
Can I fix mistakes?
Yes. Every line is editable, and your changes save as you type. Exports always use the version you see in the editor.
How exact is the word timing?
Each line is timed from the transcript. In styles that highlight word by word, the words inside a line are spread across it, so they land close to the speech but not frame for frame.
Can it translate my captions?
Not yet. Captions are written in the language you speak, and nothing is translated.
Can I use my own font?
Yes. Upload a .ttf, .otf, .woff or .woff2 file that you have the right to use. How many you can keep depends on your plan.
